We Honeymooned in Medellin, Colombia, and Loved Every Minute of Our Stay
My fiance surprised me when he said that we were headed south of the border for our honeymoon. Frankly, I really didn’t know what to expect when we flew into Medellin, Colombia. The city was modern and very much alive, and the people were incredibly friendly, especially when they realized that we were on our honeymoon. We fell in love with the area and actually checked into medellin real estate while we were there. My new husband and I both think this would be the perfect place to buy a vacation home that might one day be our retirement home too. At the very least, a second home is a good tax investment.
