It had always been a dream of mine to scuba dive along the great barrier reef in Australia. I saved my frequent flier miles along with plenty of cash and booked my trip. I thought I had everything covered, the plane tickets, the hotel reservations, the scuba classes and excursions, all my clothing and gear, and just about everything else you could think of. That was until my travel agent asked me if I had purchased my Australian travel insurance. Now I hadn’t a clue why I would need insurance just to travel, but as my agent began telling stories of lost reservations, luggage and the like, I quickly signed the line.
