Hailing A Taxi In Albufeira
If you are not keen on hoping in local transport while visiting Albufeira, then you can take the taxi. But remember to hail only licensed taxis which have “taxi” sign on top. The colors of the taxis are generally black and green or beige. It is not a wise decision to hire a taxi that is not licensed in the Algarve. As for getting them, generally you can’t call a taxi from the road. There are taxi ranks in major part of the cities where you can go or call on their official number. The queue in taxi ranks can be long during peak summer season.
