A Real Culture Shock On My Holidays to Turkey
Having lived in Britain all of my life and holidaying mostly in Western countries such as the US, Australia and Canada, I have to admit it was quite a shock stepping out in Turkey for the first time. The moment I stepped out of the airport, I could tell my holidays to Turkey would be different. From the old fashioned airport to the numerous street markets and charming local shops, it was unlike anything I had found before. Thats not to say I didn’t like what I saw though. It was great to see a different way of life, and it was humbling to see how simply some people live I came back rejuvenated , both body and soul!
