I Made It to My Goal
After playing the game for a season, I was bummed to find out that I was still only being picked for the JV team. I spent a few weeks just really mad and then decided to suck it up and work on being better. I looked into how to jump higher basketball and started putting those techniques into action in my warm ups and practice sessions on my own time. I think it really paid off because I finally made the varsity team and get to play with the real talent. I still have to be better, but that’s an ongoing process.
