I had a great time salmon fishing on Vancouver Island. I went up there with a couple of buddies for a week, and we came back with some stories that we will never forget. Let me tell you about one of them. I hooked into this absolute monster of a fish. I spilled my beer all over my lap when I felt him jerk the line. For two and a half hours I fought with this beast. When I finally reeled him in I was almost too tired to hold him up for the picture. No surprise considering he weighed 49 pounds! The guide told me he was the biggest salmon he had ever seen. My buddies were jealous, and the fish was absolutely delicious.
