The Amazement of Travel
I was just a child when my parents took me on our first major family trip to Europe. To this day I remember the excitement of the airplane ride, the fascination with all the foreign-speaking people around us, and the elegant hotels we stayed in. I had never seen luxurious Hotel furniture, and I was in awe of the enormous beds and elegant, curved couches and chairs. That first trip became one of many such adventures, but it has stayed clearly in my memory, probably because I was so young and it was my first trip. I look forward to the day when I can show my own children some of the amazing things this world has to offer.
