Fairtrade foods
My culinary instructor is very big on fair-trade food products and when the winter holidays came around I thought it would be nice to go in with some of my culinary friends to get him one of the fair-trade Christmas hampers from his home country. It came with fair-trade chocolates, wines, teas, coffees and fruits. When he got it on the last day of the semester, he was so surprised that we not only liked his teaching enough to think of him, but that we thought enough of him to get him something that meant something to him that was from his home land.
