A wedding – even a budget wedding at that – can be very costly, not just for the families of the bride and groom, but for the guests as well. You have to get a suit or a dress, shoes, pay for travel, a hotel, and a gift. Sometimes a wedding can become a financial burden, especially if you throw multiple weddings in a season. So what can you get by way of cheap wedding gifts without seeming cheap?
Another idea is to buy a bottle of wine that will peak in ten years. This can be a sentimental gift that you should tell the couple to open ten years from now on their anniversary.
