Dads Army voice does bible stories for kids

John LeMesurier might have played the oddball posh sergeant in Dad’s Army all those years ago, but he really shines in something I just came across (and bought immediately).

Once Upon a World are bible stories for children covering key stories of the Old and New Testaments. Written specifically for the ears and minds of young children and hypnotically read by John LeMesurier himself.

His voice has to be the best voice for reading a story to the kids. It’s tone is rich and clear and you just can’t help but stay enthralled. I loved these as much  as the kids, and its great to have them listen to another voice, not just Dad’s all the time.
